ROLE OVERVIEW We're looking for a Motion Graphic Designer who understands that great motion design is more than animation, it's about grabbing attention, enhancing storytelling, and creating memorable viewing experiences. You'll work on YouTube content, celebrity interviews, podcasts, entertainment shows, documentaries, branded campaigns, Reels, Shorts, and social-first content, collaborating closely with editors, designers, producers, and creative leads to bring ideas to life. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting with motion, typography, AI-powered workflows, and emerging creative technologies while building visually compelling content for millions of viewers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Motion Design & Visual Storytelling - Design and animate high-impact motion graphics for YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, entertainment content, branded campaigns, and digital productions.
• Create title sequences, intros, outros, lower thirds, supers, transitions, end screens, CTA animations, kinetic typography, logo reveals, and motion-based storytelling assets.
• Design engaging visual elements that improve audience retention, storytelling, and overall content quality. YouTube, Podcast & Social Media Packaging - Design and animate YouTube video packaging, episode openers, hooks, chapter cards, subscribe animations, end screens, and promotional assets.
• Create motion graphics for podcasts, celebrity interviews, panel discussions, documentaries, and entertainment shows.
• Develop engaging assets for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and other digital platforms.
• Build reusable animation templates that improve production speed and consistency.
Creative
Collaboration - Collaborate closely with Video Editors, Graphic Designers, Producers, Directors, Writers, and Creative Leads throughout the production process.
• Translate scripts, mood boards, and creative briefs into visually compelling motion narratives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh creative ideas to elevate every project. AI, Innovation & Workflow Excellence - Explore and adopt AI-powered creative tools to improve motion graphics workflows, ideation, asset generation, and production efficiency.
• Experiment with new animation styles, transitions, typography, visual effects, and storytelling techniques.
• Stay updated with evolving trends across YouTube, creator content, entertainment media, and digital design. Quality & Production Excellence - Maintain pixel-perfect quality across every creative deliverable.
• Ensure consistency in branding, typography, animation style, and visual language.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting production timelines.
• Organize project files, templates, assets, and motion libraries for efficient collaboration.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Motion Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related creative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Motion Graphics within a creative agency, production studio, media company, or digital-first environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, composition, colour theory, timing, rhythm, and storytelling.
• Experience designing motion graphics for YouTube, podcasts, entertainment content, social media campaigns, interviews, and branded content.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary creative teams. BONUS SKILLS - Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Lottie, Rive, or Cinema 4D.
• Basic knowledge of Blender or 3D motion design.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, and ChatGPT.
