Position overview
The Division of Student Engagement and Education Management (SEEM) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) Portfolio. SEEM is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle, from admissions application through to the completion for their studies and graduation. SEEM activities include admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students including appeals, grievance, academic misconduct, discipline processes, curriculum management and the development and support of student systems.
The Senior Manager, Student Academic Support manages a team of 30+ people who provide effective student-focused program administration, support and advice to students and academics on student education matters. The role works closely with key College and Divisional staff, Commonwealth authorities, external service providers and peers at other institutions. The Senior Manager provides high level advice to the Head, Education Management, Registrar, Senior Officers and the Executives of the University on matters relating to student lifecycle management.
