We are an award winning export packing company sending machinery & equipment from all sectors of industry from around the UK, worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager - This pivotal role involves being vice to our managing director who is entering semi retirement. The successful candidate will be lead on growth having general management expertise, and a proven track record in varied tasks including meeting current clients finding new. A knowledge of logistics and exporting preferred but not essential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence company growth and efficiency at a senior level. A current project may require additional premises in nearby town (would suit person requiring pt time or flexi days with some WFH
Responsibilities
Liase with management team to foster a "quality" culture.
Coordinate with other managers to establish policies, procedures, and standards.
.Represent the organisation at industry events and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Arrange regular meetings with production and project directors
Effective communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Attend events at four chambers of commerce and UKTI
Vehicle - Office - car parking space - admin support officer
Usual IT needs provided and business credit card
Pay: £28,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
