What is the Opportunity?

RBC offers an exciting role as a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Manager, HR Digital Strategy Delivery to join our HR Digital Solutions (HRDS) team. In this role, you will connect long-term vision with near-term delivery — driving strategy, innovation, and synergy across platforms while overseeing intake governance and enhancement delivery. You’ll collaborate across HR and technology teams to maximize the value of our HR technology investment and ensure our HR technologies are built to deliver meaningful employee experiences.

What will you do?

Digital HR Strategy

Shape and evolve the HR digital strategy and ensure strategic cohesion across products and platforms, aligning to RBC business objectives and HR CoE priorities.

Design and steward the HR digital business architecture, defining the interconnectivity of the HR digital solutions and experience across the ecosystem.

Partner with HR stakeholders to design and operationalize a future-proof HR content strategy that aligns with the overarching digital and employee experience strategy and is enabled by the HR digital business architecture to deliver an intuitive experience.

Serve as a strategic advisor on digital innovation, emerging technologies, and platform optimization opportunities to maximize the value and impact of our HR technology investment.

Lead the development of the annual HRDS roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term strategy and near-term operational priorities.

Translate the roadmap into tangible programs, projects, and initiatives, and monitor delivery progress using agile planning tools for stakeholder reporting.

Program Management Operational Execution

Lead the digital intake and change control forum to assess and prioritize enhancement requests across the HR technology portfolio.

Manage and coordinate recurring programs such as Workday semi-annual releases, ensuring stakeholder engagement and high-quality delivery.

Provide support for escalated enterprise digital HR issues, ensuring prompt resolution and cross-team coordination.

Team Enablement

Support the creation and socialization of the HR Digital Solutions’ team goals, ensuring alignment with HR priorities and a clear sense of purpose within the team.

Champion digital capability uplift by fostering learning and knowledge-sharing across the digital HR team.

Coordinate team communications and engagement activities.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

7+ years of experience in HR technology, digital transformation, or strategic program management roles.

Strong understanding of HR digital platforms and ecosystems (e.g., Workday, Phenom, ServiceNow) and how they enable employee experience and operational excellence.

Experience developing and stewarding a digital strategy and roadmap; Knowledge of HR content strategy and digital architecture concepts.

Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into cohesive programs and initiatives, with experience managing intake processes, release cycles, or enhancement delivery.

Experience working in agile planning environments, using tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) to track and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Strong facilitation and senior stakeholder engagement skills to drive alignment and outcomes.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and navigate complex stakeholder groups.

Known as a problem solver or a doer with strong critical thinking and execution skills – able to navigate ambiguity, break down complex issues, and push actions forward with persistence.

Demonstrate agility and adaptability, with the ability to navigate and adapt to evolving priorities.
