The Senior Manager, Business Analysis & Insights, leads enterprise strategy initiatives that shape how Walmart partners with suppliers and supports Merchandising. This role develops strategic recommendations, operating models, supplier engagement frameworks, and implementation plans that improve business performance and enable scalable enterprise capabilities. Partnering closely with Merchandising, Supplier Excellence, Decision Sciences, Product, and Technology, this leader translates complex business challenges into actionable strategies while influencing cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results.
About the team:
Supplier Excellence partners with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to strengthen how Walmart works with suppliers throughout their lifecycle. Our team develops enterprise strategies, supplier engagement frameworks, operating models, and performance capabilities that help merchants make better-informed decisions while improving collaboration across the business. Working at the intersection of strategy, analytics, technology, and business transformation, we design scalable solutions that simplify supplier interactions, strengthen supplier relationships, and create long-term value for Walmart and its suppliers.
What you'll do:
Lead the development and implementation of enterprise supplier strategies, operating models, and engagement frameworks.
Partner with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to develop strategic recommendations and implement enterprise initiatives.
Develop executive-ready strategy papers, business cases, presentations, and implementation roadmaps for senior leadership.
Translate complex business challenges into scalable frameworks, processes, and measurable outcomes.
Lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation while building alignment across stakeholder groups.
Identify opportunities to improve supplier engagement, business performance, and organizational effectiveness through data-driven insights.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in business analysis with a strong focus on data-driven decision making to support strategic initiatives.
Proven ability to develop, implement, and reassess business strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Expertise in evaluating program and project feasibility through comprehensive data analysis and performance assessment.
Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of building and maintaining effective business relationships.
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams aligned with organizational goals.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex insights and influence cross-functional teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
