Senior Manager / AGM – MICE Sales & Hotel Contracting
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager / AGM – MICE Sales & Hotel Contracting to drive business growth and expand our hotel partnerships on the Spalba platform. This role will oversee the MICE sales team, develop high-impact sales strategies, and lead hotel contracting efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel contracting, MICE business development, coupled with leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
MICE Sales & Business Development
• Lead and mentor the MICE sales team to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract and retain MICE clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry engagement.
Hotel Contracting & Strategic Partnerships
• Drive hotel contracting efforts for Spalba platform, ensuring competitive pricing and value-driven agreements.
• Build partnerships with leading hotels, resorts, and venues to enhance Spalba’s offerings.
• Negotiate contracts, commission structures, and exclusivity deals to maximize profitability.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies to optimize contracting terms.
Sales Strategy & Market Intelligence
• Prepare and present customized proposals, sales pitches, and pricing strategies.
• Analyze market data, trends, and customer insights to refine business strategies.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across MICE and hotel contracting verticals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in MICE sales, hotel contracting.
• Strong industry network, particularly within corporate clients and hotel chains.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and contracting targets.
• Ability to lead and mentor a sales team in a high-growth, startup environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
