Job Title: Senior Manager Logistics (Domestic & Import) Company: INA Solar (Insolation Energy Limited) Experience: 811 Years Location: JaipurAbout the CompanyINA Solar (Insolation Energy Limited) is a fast-growing solar energy company committed to delivering high-quality solar solutions and driving sustainable energy adoption.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager Logistics to oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including both domestic transportation and import logistics. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of materials critical to solar manufacturing and project execution.Key Responsibilities1. Domestic Logistics ManagementPlan and manage transportation of raw materials and finished goods across India Optimize routes, freight costs, and delivery timelines Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, and internal stakeholders Ensure timely dispatches to project sites and customers 2. Import & International LogisticsHandle end-to-end import operations including documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding Coordinate with international suppliers, CHA (Custom House Agents), and shipping lines Ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and applicable laws Track shipments and ensure timely delivery from port to plant/warehouse 3. Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementDevelop and manage relationships with logistics service providers Negotiate freight rates and contracts for cost efficiency Work closely with procurement, production, and project teams 4. Compliance & DocumentationEnsure all logistics activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate documentation for imports, exports, and domestic shipments Handle audits related to logistics and supply chain 5. Cost Optimization & Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve efficiency Implement best practices in supply chain and logistics management Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives 6. Team ManagementLead and mentor the logistics team Ensure proper workload distribution and performance tracking Key Requirements811 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations Strong experience in both domestic logistics and import logistics (mandatory) Experience in manufacturing, EPC, or solar/renewable industry preferred Good knowledge of customs regulations, shipping processes, and documentation Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field Certification in logistics/supply chain management (preferred)
