About the Role

Suvanjali Legal Advisory is seeking a Client Relations Director to drive new corporate client acquisition and lead strategic relationship management. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy and brand positioning within the corporate legal advisory space.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new corporate clients across sectors

• Build and manage strong relationships with CXOs, legal heads, and senior decision-makers

• Lead client engagement efforts, pitch services, and negotiate contracts

• Collaborate with internal legal teams to ensure exceptional client experience

• Monitor industry trends to tailor and evolve service offerings

• Represent the firm at industry events, legal forums, and networking meets

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar client relations or business development role within a legal firm

• Strong network and understanding of corporate legal needs

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Proven track record in acquiring and managing high-value clients

• Strategic mindset with the ability to work independently

Position Overview:

We are expanding our litigation team and are inviting applications from committed and dynamic advocates to join us in Mumbai. The roles require individuals with sound legal knowledge, courtroom experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
Open Positions:
• Senior Associate – Litigation (1 position)
• Junior Associates – Litigation (2 positions)
Key Practice Areas:
• Family Law
• Criminal Law
• Testamentary Suits
Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting pleadings, petitions, written statements, affidavits, and applications
• Conducting legal research and case analysis
• Representing clients before various courts, with a focus on Bombay Courts
• Coordinating with clients, witnesses, and experts
• Managing case files, deadlines, and hearing schedules
• Filing applications and managing court procedures, both physically and online
• Working on pan-India matters and travelling for hearings as required
Required Qualifications & Skills:Senior Associate
• Minimum 5 years of post-enrollment experience in litigation
• Independent courtroom handling, especially in Bombay Courts
• Excellent drafting and argumentation skills
• Ability to supervise juniors and manage multiple matters simultaneously
Junior Associate
• Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation
• Exposure to Bombay Court proceedings
• Strong research and drafting skills
• Ability to work independently and under supervision
General Requirements for All Roles:
• Bar Council Registration ID is mandatory
• Proficiency in Marathi and English (spoken and written)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and online filing systems
• Willingness to travel across India for client matters
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous professional growth
