Job Description
Estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role
This challenging opportunity has arisen to join a leading organization as a Senior Health and Safety Specialist. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and be able to implement effective HSE management systems on complex projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with project teams to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health, safety, and environment.
Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues on HSE matters.
Liaise with statutory bodies and other stakeholders to obtain necessary licenses and approvals.
Requirements
NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent qualification.
Member of IOSH and/or IEMA.
CSCS competence and a driving license are essential.
At least 2-5 years' experience in a similar role.
