JOB OBJECTIVES To lead and manage the Finance & Accounts operations for the India & Sharjah unit, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust cash flow management, statutory compliance cost control, and strong support to manufacturing operations through effective budgeting, MIS, audits and process governance.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements as per IFRS and company policies.
• Oversees month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain strong cash flow visibility through continuous forecasting and treasury coordination.
• Monitor cost, cash flow, working capital, and variance analysis for factory operations.
Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS
• Lead annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
• Provide detailed financial performance dashboards and MIS to management
Statutory Compliance & Audit support
• Drive full statutory compliance,
including VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, and other UAE regulatory requirements.
• Serve as compliance lead for financial governance and ensure timely filing and regulatory submissions.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for periodic audits and closure of audit findings.
Payables, Receivables & Treasury Management
• Proactively manage cash-in and cash-out cycles
to optimize liquidity and banking performance.
• Oversees vendor payments, bank reconciliations, credit control and AR collections.
• Manage import documentation, LC bank facilities, and forex exposure coordination.
Payroll & Employee Expense Management
• Coordinate payroll processing with HR ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Review employee expense claims and related accounting.
Manufacturing Finance & Internal Controls
• Implement compliance controls aligned with UAE laws and corporate standards.
• Track production costs, wastage, yield, inventory control and CAPEX reporting.
• Ensure strong internal controls, SOP adherence and ERP data accuracy.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with plant operations, supply chain, procurement, and corporate finance teams.
• Support management with strategic financial insights for business growth.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION’S
Chartered Accountant
Years and Nature of Experience
20 years of Finance & Accounts experience with at least 3-5 years exposure to global accounting practice, manufacturing/plant finance role in UAE or GCC preferred.
