Job Title: Senior Fund Accountant - Operations and Compliance
Location:
Function: Investment Operations and Accounting
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our investment operations and accounting group, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of fund valuations, net asset value (NAV) calculations, and expense reporting.
• Custody Operations: Manage security master creation, settlement, and reconciliation for equities and debt securities.
• Fund Accounting: Validate valuation, NAV, and expenses calculations; ensure regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Treasury/Cash Flow: Prepare cash flow statements and projections for timely investment decisions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Accounting/SEBI Regulations: Knowledge of SEBI and AMFI regulations applicable to asset management industry, and related compliance requirements in Investment Operations and Fund Accounting.
• Investment Operations Systems: Knowledge of investment operations front office and back-office systems.
• MS Excel and Word Skills: Excellent MS Excel and Word skills.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in Fund Management Investment operations and accounting industry.
• Chartered Accountant / CA (Inter) or MBA in Finance & Accounts desirable.
