Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Authorized Signatory Documentation Management:
• Oversee authorized signatory documentation, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain an organized database of authorized signatory documents.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth documentation processes.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform bank reconciliations, verify financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Obtain bank statements from the respective banks.
• Confirm account balances by comparing company records with bank statements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation adjustments.
• Enhance bank reconciliation processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Banking Correspondences:
• Manage and draft professional communication with banks and financial institutions.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and requests for information.
• Cultivate strong relationships with banking partners.
• Bank Statement and Balance Confirmations:
• Obtain bank statements from the respective banks.
• Confirm account balances by comparing company records with bank statements.
• Perform regular balance confirmations with banks to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation adjustments.
• Enhance bank reconciliation processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Monthly MIS Reports:
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, providing valuable financial insights.
• Analyze financial data and present findings to senior management.
• Contribute to strategic financial planning and performance evaluation.
• General Responsibilities:
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.
• Stay updated on industry trends and banking regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in banking operations, including authorized signatory documentation, bank reconciliation, banking correspondences, bank statement and balance confirmations, and MIS reporting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and databases.
• Self-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving skills
