Senior Engineer - Indore (MP) / Delhi NCR / Raipur (CG) / Udaipur (Raj)
Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To independently develop and grow business in the assigned state by building customer relationships, driving new consultant/vendor approvals, and managing channel partners.

KEY ACTIVITIES
· Take
full ownership of sales and market development
in the assigned state.
· Identify, develop, and acquire new customers across all key industrial clusters.
· Prepare techno-commercial offers and handle complete enquiry-to-order cycle.
· Negotiate and close orders independently, managing customer expectations and timelines.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with
electrical consultants, EPC contractors, and influencers
in the state.
· Drive
vendor registrations and specifications
for upcoming projects to ensure UTTAM transformers are included in project tenders.
· Track and influence projects at the planning stage for early positioning of products.
· Identify and appoint
dealers/channel partners
in uncovered areas.
· Train and support them to effectively promote and sell UTTAM products.
· Monitor channel partner performance and ensure target achievement.
· Build long-term relationships with top industrial customers in the state to secure repeat business.
· Provide technical and commercial support to key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Proactively address any issues that may impact relationships or order execution.
· Continuously map competitors’ activities, pricing, and product offerings.
· Maintain an updated enquiry funnel in CRM with
3× pipeline coverage
of the monthly sales target.
· Submit accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to the Regional Manager.
· Plan and execute extensive travel (15+ days/month) to cover
all major industrial clusters
in the state.
· Build a structured travel plan to balance consultant meetings, dealer development, and customer visits.
· As the state revenue base grows, assist the Regional Manager in
hiring and mentoring junior Sales Engineers
to strengthen market presence further

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualification
(Must/Desirable
): Diploma/B.E. (Electrical) mandatory
Experience
6–8 years in industrial capital goods/electrical product sales
Proven experience in
independent territory handling
and price objection handling
Experience in appointing and managing dealers/channel partners in new markets.
