Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Shop Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations within the shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, enabling them to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain premium European e-bikes, including brands such as Riese & Müller, Gazelle, and Stromer
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on complex drive systems (Bosch, Shimano, Mahle, Stromer, etc.) and conduct firmware updates and software diagnostics
Assemble new bikes to manufacturer specifications and ensure quality control prior to customer delivery
Manage high-voltage lithium-ion battery systems, following strict safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized workshop, adhering to occupational health and safety standards
Provide expert guidance to customers regarding service needs, product care, and riding safety
Assist in training junior mechanics and apprentices as part of the company’s workforce development strategy
Responsible and manage after-sales service, warranty processing, and coordination with overseas suppliers.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a shop environment.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
