Job Description
This is a Senior Designer-Mechanical & Piping role will be reporting to Engineering Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based in Peenya, Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible for the implementation of Mechanical and Piping Studies according to specifications in terms of time schedule, cost and quality which are required for the project.
Responsibilities:-
• Analyzing and provide solutions in terms of general layout, piping routing, skid arrangement and other technical solutions according to the customer’s specification.
• Issuing a calculation note for a piping stress or Piping rack and piping support in accordance with the project requirement.
• Verifying the compliance with contractual specifications and technical documents and Coordinates the actions of the different actors on the project.
• Coordinates the Eng. mechanical studies of Piping, 3D Model, piping drawing, piping support, isometric, Material take off, etc …
• Develops the studies integrating Customers’ requirements and Subcontractors’ needs and Participates to several projects at the same time.
• Participates in accordance with project schedule of the several reviews of checking and control about a layout, Piping 3d review.
Qualification And Experience:-
• Technician Diploma and 5-10 years of Experience in a similar position
• Experience of the EPC Eng in Chemical, Petroleum and Paint industries is must
• Should be good at technical skills like agitator, pumps, screw conveyor, storage tank, filtration, powder storage, Valves and accessories, Piping carbon steel and stainless steel, Steel structure.
• Good Communication skill is an added advantage.
