Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer & HTML Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, web design, and front-end development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly digital experiences. This role involves leading design projects, developing high-quality digital assets, and ensuring seamless integration of design elements with web technologies. You will collaborate closely with the MarComms team, product managers, and external agencies to create innovative solutions that elevate our brand and enhance user engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end design process for all marketing materials related to our credit card products, including digital and print ads, social media graphics, website banners, email templates, and promotional materials.
• Develop, implement, and maintain responsive and high-performance HTML/CSS code for various digital platforms, ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with the MarComms team to understand project requirements, target audience, and marketing objectives, translating them into compelling visual and interactive designs.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity for our credit card products, ensuring all design elements align with brand guidelines and contribute to a cohesive brand experience.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
• Work closely with external UI/UX agencies to integrate user-centric design principles into our digital platforms, optimizing user experience and engagement.
• Stay current with the latest design trends, tools, and front-end development technologies to continuously improve design and development processes.
• Manage multiple design and development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design and front-end development, preferably in the financial services or related industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including digital and print materials, as well as HTML/CSS coding examples.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout techniques, and responsive web design.
• Experience with UI/UX design and familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, InVision).
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in building responsive and interactive web pages.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts and technical solutions to non-design stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience designing for credit card products or financial services.
• Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and tools.
