Role Description The Senior Content Writer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. In this role, the Senior Content Writer plans, writes, and edits high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, ad campaigns, and other digital assets aligned with client branding and marketing goals. The role includes developing content strategies for various industries, conducting research to understand target audiences and market trends, and collaborating with designers, marketers, and video teams to create integrated campaigns. The Senior Content Writer reviews and optimizes existing content for clarity, SEO, and brand consistency, and ensures all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. The position also involves mentoring junior writers, maintaining content calendars, and contributing ideas to improve campaign performance and engagement.
Qualifications
Strong social media Content Writing and Writing skills for diverse digital formats and audiences.
Ability to develop effective Content Strategy aligned with marketing objectives and brand positioning.
Proficiency in Research to gather insights on industries, competitors, keywords, and audience behavior.
Attention to detail in Proofreading and editing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand tone.
Experience in SEO-friendly content creation and familiarity with digital marketing concepts and analytics.
Background in managing content calendars and leading content projects or campaigns end-to-end.
Comfort collaborating with design, performance marketing, and video production teams in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a digital agency or marketing environment, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality content work.
Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects, and commitment to on-site, full-time collaboration in Bhubaneswar.
