About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in Banking Technology with over 15 years of proven expertise in delivering successful products and programs within the banking and financial services industry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and influence transformative digital lending and insurance solutions for a range of financial institutions focusing on Mortgages, Automotive finance and Corporate Finance.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and delivering exceptional user experiences. You will have a strong focus on capability building, team collaboration, and leading cross-functional teams towards achieving strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage lead a cross-functional team responsible for the delivery of digital and API-driven solutions considering customer needs and current industry trends.
- Define and communicate a compelling vision and roadmap for our platform ensuring alignment across business
- Lead development and enhancements of product feature including design and development of tools and features for adaptive solutioning, system integration using APIs, testing, and reporting towards successful product implementations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across various functions and processes, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, enabling team members for current and upcoming initiatives, and promoting a culture of innovation and self-reliance.
- Develop and implement strategies for ongoing capability and capacity building to support business growth and product evolution.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and delivery of banking technology solutions.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in banking technology, specializing in the implementation of financial software solutions for banks and financial institutions
- Extensive experience implementing digital lending solutions across multiple portfolios, including Retail and Corporate Finance.
- Proven experience working within an agile delivery model (e.g. Scrum).
- Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders to define a solution
- Track record of managing product development and implementation throughout the entire lifecycle
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams across various functions, driving performance and delivering successful business outcomes.
- Ownership of product backlog product development, implementation, integration, testing, and reporting functions.
- Expertise in data associated with Lending products
- Expertise in tools including MS Office, PL/SQL, JIRA and Confluence
- Detailed understanding of key integration touchpoints for Lending processes including related APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement in processes, practices, and capabilities.
