Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will work on-site in Jalandhar I in a full-time capacity, contributing to the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects within the institution’s infrastructure and development initiatives. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves overseeing stormwater management plans, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineers, and providing technical guidance to junior team members. The Senior Civil Engineer will monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, identify risks, and recommend improvements to optimize quality, cost, and timelines. The position also requires collaboration with institutional leadership to support long-term campus development and maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and core Civil Engineering principles.
• Experience leading and mentoring Civil Engineers, with proven planning and project coordination skills.
• Practical expertise in Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related infrastructure solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree or relevant specialization is an asset.
• Professional licensure or registration as a civil engineer (where applicable) preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in campus, institutional, or commercial infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
