Job Description
Delphic is looking for a seasoned C++ Developer with a strong background in C++ and expertise in VC++ (Visual C++).
Location: Pune
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ Years of C++ Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in C++ development, with a strong grasp of the language, its features, and best practices.
• 3+ Years of VC++ (Visual C++) Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in Visual C++ development, including familiarity with the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Proficiency in object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Cross-Platform Development: Experience with cross-platform C++ development and an understanding of platform-specific considerations.
• STL (Standard Template Library): Strong knowledge of the C++ Standard Template Library.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Debugging and Optimization: Ability to debug and optimize C++ code for performance and memory management.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Teamwork: Effective collaboration and communication skills to work in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• C++ Development: Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications, libraries, and systems.
• VC++ (Visual C++) Development: Utilize Visual C++ for Windows application development and integration.
• Cross-Platform Development: Adapt C++ code for cross-platform compatibility as needed.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Optimization: Identify and implement code optimizations to improve performance and resource utilization.
• Bug Fixing: Investigate and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and best practices.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and project objectives.
• Adherence to Coding Standards: Follow coding standards, design guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on C++ and VC++ developments and emerging technologies in software development.
• Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
