Senior Bookkeeper - Balcatta Head Office
Jacksons Drawing Supplies is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. Managing the full scope of financial and bookkeeping activities, ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our accounting function.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing invoices via Retail Express integration into MYOB
Bank reconciliations – Daily. Using MYOB
Ensuring correct General Ledger allocations
Work closely with Accounts Receivable Assistant for spreadsheet reports of daily income from retail stores
Reconciling monthly creditors statements
Preparing payment batches inc prompt, Mid-month and end of month
Paying selected invoices via company credit card
Pay rental invoices as per batch and cashflow forecast
Review Credit Card balance to ensure available funds
Update Daily Cashflow spreadsheet with incoming daily funds and forecast allocations. Reviewed by General Manager & Managing Director
Import gift card voucher creations daily via Retail Express into Magento Website
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliation
Excellent organisational and time management skills
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
Proficient in MYOB and Outlook (Knowledge of Retail Express would be an advantage)
Trustworthy, honest, and loyal
Energetic and motivated individual looking to work as part of team
Has a drive to succeed & happy to work hard to make it happen
