Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Revenue: Prepare, review, and submit periodic client bills (monthly recurring charges, power usage, cross-connects) and ensure timely revenue recognition.
Measurement & Certification: Validate client consumption data (space, power, cooling) from site engineers and IoT systems to generate accurate invoices.
Contract Management: Analyze client contracts to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), rate structures, and payment terms.
Cost Control & Reporting: Track data center project costs versus budget, including vendor/contractor billing. Prepare MIS reports for management on billing performance.
Dispute Resolution: Liaise with clients, project managers, and finance teams to resolve billing disputes and reconciliation issues.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of BOQs (Bill of Quantities), change orders, and approval documentation for audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 4 to 10+ years in billing, cost control, or quantity surveying, preferably within MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), data center construction, or technical service sectors.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of data center electrical infrastructure (UPS, PDU, HVAC) and power consumption billing (kW/h).
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and perform rate analysis.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
