We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect (Interior Design) to lead our design vertical. The ideal candidate will manage a dynamic team of 5-6 architects and BSc Interior Design graduates, overseeing the development and execution of interior design projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the interior design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee all phases of interior design projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, budget constraints, and deadlines.
- Develop creative and functional design concepts for a variety of spaces including residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Coordinate with the inhouse project management team, clients & contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of design innovation.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including detailed drawings, specifications, and material selections.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and innovative projects.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing a team of architects and designers.
- Excellent design and conceptual skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, and Enscape.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction methods.
