Job Description
TITLE ARCHITECT (DESIGNER)
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Objective: Architects play a pivotal role in shaping the built environment. They successfully lead and contribute to the design and delivery of architectural projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, budget constraints, and deadlines. Architects integrate sustainable design principles and practices into architectural projects, aiming for environmentally conscious and energy-efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Create preliminary sketches and conceptual drawings to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Adhere to relevant building codes and standards while working with draftsmen.
• Collaborate with other architects and design professionals to integrate various design components seamlessly.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate design activities and ensure project timelines are met.
• Provide support in the development of project budgets and schedules.
• Research and analyse site conditions, environmental factors, and zoning regulations.
• Conduct quality checks on design and drawing deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
Requirements And Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Proven working experience of 2 to 4 years as an Architect.
• IIA association is a plus.
• Strong portfolio to demonstrate artistic skills.
• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ, or similar).
• Visual awareness and a keen eye for detail
