Job description
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Apparel Designer to join the team at VF Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for fashion trends, a passion for design, and the ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. If you’re a creative thinker who wants to make a lasting impact with their designs, this is the perfect job for you.To be successful in this role, you must have at least 6 years of professional design experience in the apparel industry. You should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field, as well as a proven track record of creating innovative and marketable products. A strong understanding of consumer trends and textile technology, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, are also essential. Responsibilities:

Developing innovative and marketable apparel designs for VF Corporation

Keeping up to date on current fashion trends and consumer preferences

Staying informed of industry developments and technological advancements
Utilizing color, texture, and other design elements to create visually appealing apparel
Collaborating with other departments on product development
Creating detailed sketches and presentations for upper management
Sourcing materials and fabrics to be used in designs
Communicating with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality products
Monitoring product performance and making adjustments as necessary
