Senior Analyst Bank Relationship

Main Purpose:Reporting to the Manager - Global Banking Ops & Customer Due Diligence, the successful applicant will work with team members based in Mumbai, as well as internal colleagues worldwide, to manage the Bank Accounts for all the Group companies.The core duties are the timely receipt and response to incoming request from internal departments to open / close / update the bank account. To handle end-to-end process from liaising with bank till the account set-up or removal from internal systems and e-banking platforms.The successful applicant will work closely with the various internal teams (company secretarial / Legal / Compliance / Finance) to collate the relevant information required by the banks to on-board Trafigura group companies and liaising on a daily basis with other group employees across the globe.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in a Banking Officer, who can assist in Bank Accounts Opening / Closing / Maintenance for Group companies by liaising with various banks worldwide. He / She will also be responsible for recording the same on different systems internally with e-banking portals and managing access to the same.

- Familiarity with the Banking knowledge and operations of the bank account via SWIFT services as well as standard requirements of Banks in the global regulatory environment

- Demonstrable ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally in a global environment with colleagues based worldwide.

- Being respectful for confidential information

- Ability to deal with timing pressure

- Ability to work independently and to self-manage a busy workload of changing priorities.

- A practical, ‘Can do’ attitude and ability to produce quick solutions is essential.

- Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required; other European languages are desirable but not essential

- Familiarity with online applications and databases is desirable but not essential

- Familiarity with standard MS Office computer software and using online resources is essential

- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

The KYC Officer will be part of the Global Banking Ops & Customer Due Diligence team under Master Data Management department for the group. The team is responsible maintain Banking Relationship worldwide by coordinating the group’s bank account opening/closing and maintenance processes and taking care of incoming KYC requests from various Counterparties / Banks for various group companies across the globe
