The role | Te tūnga
This permanent Wellington-based role reports to the Senior Manager – People Experience & Capability and plays a key role in delivering projects and initiatives across our People Experience portfolio. You'll have the opportunity to design and deliver organisational development interventions, tackle complex organisational challenges, and build your expertise across a broad range of OD disciplines.
You'll join a high-performing team that includes a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead, two Organisational Development technical leaders, two Learning and Development specialists, a Māori Crown Relations expert and a people leader committed to supporting your growth and development.
We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in organisational development, who can apply practical frameworks and approaches to solve business challenges and communicate ideas in a way that engages and influences stakeholders. Our work programme offers plenty of opportunities to lead, shape and deliver initiatives in areas such as leadership development, performance culture and employee experience.
We're looking for someone who brings:
Significant experience delivering organisational development initiatives, including leadership, culture and performance-focused programmes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive, pragmatic and solution-focused approach
An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance to the Public Service
Cultural capability, or a willingness to build capability and confidence in this area
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills

We highly value demonstrated competency in mātauranga Māori, tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi application in a workplace setting. To support this work, proficiency in te reo Māori, or a strong commitment to developing te reo Māori capability is welcomed.
