Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Sage Accounting Software (Mandatory) and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, financial reporting, and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Sage Accounting Software (Mandatory).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly and year-end accounts.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and support tax assessments.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants during audits.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Verify vendor payments, customer receipts, and reconcile outstanding balances.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
• Support management with financial analysis and business decision-making.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for audit purposes.
• Assist in implementing internal financial controls and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com, CA Inter, or CMA will be an added advantage.
• 5+years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Mandatory experience working on Sage Accounting Software.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting).
