Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Zamsky Yao Chartered Accountants (ZYCA). We are a boutique accounting practice growing rapidly through a combination of acquisition and organic growth. Our well-established firm is based in Caulfield which offers full range of professional accounting services and has a high-quality client portfolio of SMEs.
You will be working full time in a very supportive environment. This role offers:
Preparation of BAS, financial statements, tax returns and other special projects for all types of clients in various industries
Supervising, mentoring and training junior team members
Working closely and directly with partners to gain valuable experiences and knowledges
Developing your ability to become a manager with the opportunity to build a team around you and be one of the future leaders of our firm
To be successful in the role you will have the following attributes:
CA or CPA Qualification with Accounting/Commerce Degree
Minimum 4 years’ experience in public practice with a deep understanding of the Australian taxation system
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks etc., experience with MYOB AO/AE will be favourable)
High energy and enthusiasm with keen eye to detail
