Senior Accountant

1.MIS Reporting:

· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Information System (MIS) reports.

· Provide financial insights and recommendations based on MIS data.

· Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of MIS reports.

2.Financial Audits:

· Conduct internal audits to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

· Assist in external audits and coordinate with auditors to provide necessary documentation.

· Identify areas of financial risk and implement measures to mitigate them.

3.Accounting:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with accounting standards.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

· Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

4.Tally ERP:

· Use Tally ERP software for accounting entries, inventory management, and financial reporting.

· Generate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements using Tally.

· Ensure the accuracy of data entered in Tally and resolve any discrepancies.

5.Taxation:

· Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

· Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and implement them in the company's tax strategy.

· Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance matters, ensuring timely submissions and payments.

6.Financial Management:

· Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial projections and analysis.

· Support the management in financial decision-making by providing relevant data and insights.

· Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management.

7.Handling International Clients:

· Independently manage accounts for international clients, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.

· Address and resolve financial queries from international clients in a timely and professional manner.

· Understand and manage the complexities of international transactions, including currency conversions and cross-border taxation.

· Knowledge of Zoho applications (such as Zoho Books, Zoho CRM) is preferred

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· As a team leader; supervising, managing and motivating team members

CA Qualified
