Security Guard - Northwest Edmonton
Location: Northwest Edmonton, Alberta
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Schedule: Coverage required seven days per week
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Permanent
About Armour Security
Armour Security & Protection Services Corporation is hiring a reliable Security Guard for a commercial plaza in northwest Edmonton.
This is a regular on-site security guard position. The guard will conduct scheduled foot patrols of the parking lot and businesses within the plaza. Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle to sit in and remain on-site between patrols.
Responsibilities
• Conduct regular foot patrols of the parking lot and plaza businesses
• Monitor the property for trespassing, theft, vandalism, suspicious activity, and safety concerns
• Check business entrances, doors, windows, and assigned areas
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Respond appropriately to disturbances and security incidents
• Assist business staff, customers, and tenants when required
• Complete detailed patrol and incident reports
• Immediately report emergencies, property damage, and serious concerns
• Follow all site procedures and Armour Security policies
• Remain alert and available inside your vehicle between patrols
Requirements
• Valid Alberta Security Services Worker Licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Valid driver’s licence
• Able to reliably commute to northwest Edmonton
• Available to work from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Comfortable conducting regular outdoor foot patrols
• Able to work independently during evening and overnight hours
• Strong English communication and report-writing skills
• Professional, punctual, alert, and dependable
• Comfortable working in different weather conditions
