Malabar Darlinghurst is a 20-year established Indian restaurant in Sydney, known for refined service, consistent food, and a calm, professional dining room.
We are hiring a section waiter to join our front-of-house team.
What you will do
Manage your own section with confidence and attention to detail
Take orders, guide guests, and deliver a smooth dining experience
Maintain table presentation and service standards
Work closely with kitchen and team during service
Handle busy periods with control and consistency
What we are looking for
Minimum 1–2 years experience as a section waiter
Strong communication and guest awareness
Ability to manage multiple tables without losing standards
Calm, organised, and reliable during service
Well-presented with attention to detail
