We now invite eligible candidates to join our dynamic and inclusive company for the exciting opportunity below: Associate (China Desk Development) Key Responsibilities Support market intelligence and desk research by summarising relevant market, regulatory and financial infrastructure developments relating to capital market connect schemes and/or debt capital market development Assist in the preparation of presentations and briefing materials to support analytical discussions and management reporting Contribute to feasibility assessments for strategic or new business initiatives under supervision by consolidating inputs, preparing discussion summaries, and documenting key considerations Assist senior team members in liaising with internal and external stakeholders by coordinating meetings, recording minutes and key discussion points, and tracking follow-up actions Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned Requirements University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field At least 2 years of relevant experience in debt capital markets and/or securities services preferred; familiarity with fixed income products and awareness of China’s onshore market practices and China-related connect schemes would be an advantage Proactive and self‑motivated, with strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, and the ability to summarise information clearly with attention to detail Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua Candidates with supplementary experience and qualifications will also be considered, even if they do not meet all of the specified requirements above (Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Analyst level.)
