Position Details: • Position: Unity 3D Game Developer • Engagement: Part-Time (2-Month Contract) • Work Mode: Fully Remote • Availability: 4 Hours per Day • Compensation: ₹35,000 per Month • Location: Chennai/Tamil Nadu Preferred (Open Across India) • Languages: Tamil (Mandatory), English (Professional Proficiency) Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Unity 3D Game Developer with strong experience in hypercasual mobile games and multiplayer gaming mechanics. This is a remote, part-time role requiring approximately 4 hours of engagement per day. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building and publishing multiple hypercasual games and be able to showcase a portfolio of completed projects. The role involves designing, developing, and scaling engaging multiplayer experiences while ensuring high performance across mobile platforms. Tamil proficiency is mandatory to collaborate effectively with regional stakeholders, producers, and production teams. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain hypercasual mobile games using Unity 3D and C#. • Build engaging gameplay experiences focused on retention, monetization, and rapid iteration. • Develop multiplayer features including matchmaking, player synchronization, leaderboards, room creation, and real-time interactions. • Create reusable multiplayer frameworks and game mechanics for multiple game titles. • Collaborate with designers, artists, and stakeholders to prototype and launch games. • Optimize games for mobile performance, battery efficiency, and network usage. • Integrate third-party SDKs including analytics, ads, notifications, and in-app purchases. • Troubleshoot gameplay, networking, and performance issues. • Support game releases, feature updates, and post-launch enhancements. Mandatory Requirements: Hypercasual Game Development • Strong hands-on experience developing hypercasual mobile games. • Experience working on multiple published hypercasual titles. • Portfolio showcasing completed games on: • Google Play Store • Apple App Store • WebGL Platforms • GitHub or Demo Builds • Ability to demonstrate gameplay mechanics, code quality, and project contributions. • Experience with rapid prototyping and short development cycles. Multiplayer Game Development • Practical experience implementing multiplayer game mechanics. • Understanding of real-time and turn-based multiplayer architectures. • Experience creating reusable multiplayer modules. • Experience with: • Matchmaking • Lobby Creation • Room Management • Player Synchronization • Leaderboards • Chat Systems • Real-Time Game State Updates • Player Progress Tracking Preferred Multiplayer Technologies: Photon Fusion, Photon PUN, Unity Netcode, Mirror, PlayFab Multiplayer Services, Firebase Realtime Database, WebSockets. Technical Skills: Core: Unity 3D, C#, Object-Oriented Programming, Mobile Game Optimization, Game Physics, Animation Systems, UI/UX Implementation, Scriptable Objects. Multiplayer: Photon Fusion/PUN, Unity Netcode, Mirror, PlayFab, Firebase, Socket Programming. Tools: Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jira, Unity Cloud Build, Android Studio, Xcode. Preferred Qualifications: • 2–5 years of Unity game development experience. • Experience with live-service games and game monetization strategies. • Experience integrating AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, or similar ad networks. • Understanding of player engagement and retention mechanics. • Familiarity with AI-assisted game development workflows. • Experience working in distributed remote teams.
