Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Chief Scientist - Anatomical Pathology at ACT Health.
About the Role:
This position plays a critical role in building leadership capability across ACT Pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing line management and supervision for the Anatomical Pathology laboratories, as well as working proactively and collaboratively with other leaders and teams across ACT Pathology to drive alignment on innovation, strategy, and continuous improvement.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Anatomical Pathology team to ensure delivery of high-quality pathology services.
Collaborate with other leaders and teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Line management and supervision of the Anatomical Pathology laboratories.
Collaboration with other leaders and teams to drive innovation, strategy, and continuous improvement.
Leadership development and capability building within ACT Pathology.
Requirements:
Compliance with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination policy.
Compliance with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
Full-time position located in Australian Capital Territory - Canberra.
Note: The successful candidate may be required to participate in the on-call roster.
