We create thought-provoking scientific stories that challenge assumptions, reveal hidden systems, and transform the way people understand the world around them.
As part of the GetSetFly Media ecosystem, our content reaches over 25 million people across YouTube and Instagram. The stories you write won't sit in a document—they will influence how millions think about science, society, human behavior, power structures, survival, and the forces shaping our reality.
Role Overview
We are seeking exceptional Science Writers who can transform complex subjects into compelling, high-retention narratives.
The ideal candidate can seamlessly blend rigorous research with powerful storytelling to create content that is intellectually engaging, emotionally resonant, and deeply insightful.
You may work across topics including:
• Science
• Psychology
• History
• Geopolitics
• Biology
• Human Behavior
What You'll Create
Your scripts should combine:
• Strong causal reasoning
• Curiosity-driven storytelling
• Scientific accuracy
• Emotional relevance
• Insightful perspective shifts
• Audience engagement and retention
How We Think
A SciCo writer doesn't stop at asking:
"What are the facts?"
They go further and ask:
• What hidden system is driving this phenomenon?
• Which common belief does this challenge?
• Why should an ordinary person care?
• What does this reveal about human nature, power, survival, or society?
What We're Looking For
Strong candidates typically demonstrate:
• Deep curiosity and research obsession
• Exceptional narrative and storytelling instincts
• First-principles thinking
• High ownership and accountability
• Ability to simplify complex ideas without losing depth
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Academic qualifications can be valuable, but our primary focus is on the quality of your thinking, writing, and storytelling ability.
Who This Role Is Not For
This position may not be suitable for:
• Generic content writers
• Surface-level researchers
• Writers who rely heavily on AI-generated content
• Individuals who require constant direction or handholding
