We are looking for a creative science writer to join our team to produce scripts for research-focused, educational animated videos in biological sciences. This position is for science enthusiasts who would love to create cool and engaging scientific videos catering to scientists, researchers, and graduate students.

Responsibilities:

· Follow our guidelines for script generation to produce informative, interesting, and scientifically accurate voiceover

· Create storyboards that guide the work of professional animators

· Generate technical documents using our guidelines to provide instructions to media professionals such as voice talent, video editors, and animators

· Review content and provide feedback based on your knowledge and expertise in biological sciences.

Requirements:

· Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or relevant discipline

· Wet-lab experience in biological research and expertise in In vitro testing/cell-based assays are mandatory.

· Experience working with pre-clinical animal models is desired.

· Eagerness to convey science using creative approaches

· Enthusiasm to learn and communicate scientific concepts visually

· Must demonstrate US-English language proficiency with written communication skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Power point and Google Docs is a plus

· Openness to multitask and adaptability to changing business needs
