HS Science Teacher 1.0 FTE – Beginning August 2026
Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a High School Science Teacher to begin in August 2026.

THE POSITION
The High School Science Teacher will collaborate with members of the Science department to create innovative programming and learning opportunities.
You will ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices for all students while creating a rigorous learning environment.
You possess energy, commitment and readiness to participate in extra-curricular programming by coaching basketball or volleyball.
QUALIFICATIONS
BC Ministry of Education Certification
Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Biology
Preference for Graduate level qualifications
Previous experience teaching Science at a senior level
Previous experience teaching Chemistry or Biology
Experience at an independent school is an asset
A comprehensive understanding of science curriculum as per Ministry of Education BC documents
Strong computer skills, including Google suite
Model high standards in teaching practice, interactions with all stakeholders
Known to communicate, negotiate, collaborate and build partnerships effectively
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Annual salary range of $68,135 - $112,660
