Job Description
All kids are transported between home and school by a School Bus Driver who is safe, polite, and on time. In line with state legislation and department of education standards, transports kids to and from authorized stops in a safe and clean environment.

Salary : $ 30.2+ per hour.

Qualifications:
• Maintain, read, and comprehend route papers, including time adjustments, and alert supervisor promptly of any changes. Maintain strong work habits by being on time and keeping absence to a minimum for daily tasks and additional travels.
• Safely operate a vehicle on a specified route in a timely and safe manner, transporting passengers to and from specified locations and completing related tasks.
• While in possession of the vehicle keys, fueling slip receipts, and pre- and post-trip documents, pass them over to dispatch as instructed by your supervisor.
• Before during, and after each journey, do a thorough inspection of each vehicle and fill out all required papers and reports. Passengers should be able to enter and exit the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Always attempt to increase the firm's goodwill by collaborating with employees, managers, and other passengers as needed.
• In order to keep the bus you have been given safe and clean, it is your responsibility to keep it clean at all times.
• To maintain the assigned vehicle's safety, limit wear, and prolong its useful life, follow the company's guidelines for proper vehicle maintenance.
• Complete inspections of the vehicle before to departure as well as post-departure to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Operate an adapted transportation lift to board and release challenged people using safe and acceptable techniques.
• Maintain a decent appearance by clothing correctly for the profession, grooming nicely, and maintaining enough cleanliness.
Skills:
• Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License, Class B or higher, with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• To be eligible for a driver's license, you must have three years of driving experience that can be verified. In the previous three years, there had been no more than two traffic offenses and one avoidable collision.
• The ideal candidate is versatile, works well in a team, and is willing to step in as required.
• Be able to lift, store, and disassemble/assemble wheelchairs weighing up to 40 pounds, as well as any other ambulatory equipment necessary by the passenger.
• Before students load or unload the bus, the driver steps on the emergency brake pedal or presses the air brake button, then pulls the lever or depresses the air brake button to release the brake
