School Counsellor cum Special Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counsellor with a specialization in special education to join our team. The ideal candidate will support students' emotional, psychological, academic, and social development, with a primary focus on handling children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counselling to students, particularly those with special educational needs.
Design and implement intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of special children.
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Support students in overcoming academic, social, and behavioral challenges.
Conduct regular assessments and maintain detailed documentation of student progress.
Promote mental health awareness and create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when required.
Conduct workshops for teachers and parents on dealing with special children effectively.
Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant legal/ethical guidelines.
