Sawmill Production Workers - Previous sawmill experience required

S&R Sawmills has a long history of Custom Cutting in the Lower Mainland. We are a family run business that was established in 1+63 and we currently have a workforce of over 300 employees on a large strip of the Fraser River. Employee safety is the highest priority with experience, knowledge and hard work being the backbone for many years.

We are looking for dedicated, team-oriented individuals who have previous sawmill experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, are safety conscious and interested in a long-term career with us. Our roles are full-time, permanent positions which include a benefits package and pension plan.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

2+ years of previous experience in a sawmill environment
First Aid, Grading Ticket etc. would be an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
Safety first attitude
A willingness to learn and take direction
Must be able to do shift work (Day shifts are 7:00am – 3:30pm, Afternoon shifts are 3:30pm-12:00am)
