Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the counter. Duties
Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist with food handling tasks such as wrapping, packaging, and stocking ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations.
Support other restaurant functions including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a clean environment for both staff and customers.
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros enhances efficiency but training is provided if needed.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
Experience working in a café or retail environment involving food industry standards is advantageous.
Ability to manage time effectively in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail.
