Full Job Description
Ø Using of shot blasting equipment and abrasive, to prepare surfaces and enable coating to be applied on material surfaces as per approved procedures.
Ø Blasting performed quality checks on products and parts.
Ø Swept or otherwise clean work areas.
Ø Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Ø Your daily target will be minimum three beams girder shot blasting.
Ø Wears gloves and helmet, or hood, to protect against breathing sand-laden air and injury to eyes and hands.
Ø The sandblaster uses abrasive blasting equipment to remove paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt.
Ø The sandblaster’s control of the pressure and direction of the abrasive material is vital for preventing surface damage and injury to coworkers.
Ø You are responsible for lifting, carrying, and setting up heavy equipment and parts onto racks, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets.
Ø Your daily target will be minimum three girder beams.
Ø Providing technical advice and solving problems on plant.
Ø You will be required to work in day/night shifts.
Ø You required to handover your work to concern person before leaving shift on daily basis.
