Salesforce Engineer
Job Description
Hands-on Salesforce role across Sales, Service and Experience Cloud.
Onsite barista, generous discounts, onsite parking & career pathways.
Build the Salesforce solutions that power a globally expanding premium design brand — and grow your career in a team that values craft, quality and continuous improvement.
The King Difference
This is not just a Salesforce support role where you manage tickets and wait for direction.
This is a hands-on technical role where you design, build and configure scalable Salesforce solutions that directly support King Living's global operations across Sales, Service and Experience Cloud. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners and technical teams — translating real business needs into clean, well-governed, high-performing solutions.
The work is varied, the platform is mature, and the expectation is high. You will contribute to solution design, deliver end-to-end implementations, support integrations with third-party systems, and help shape the development standards and best practices that the broader team works to.
If you are a Salesforce Engineer who takes genuine pride in code quality, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to build something that matters at a global scale — this is the role for you.
What You Will Own
Hands-On Development & Configuration Build and configure Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Process Builder, and other declarative tools — with a focus on configuration-first development that is scalable, secure and well-governed.
Solution Design Contribute to the design of high-performance Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements and platform best practice — working closely with the Head of Salesforce and broader IT team to ensure architecture decisions are sound and future-proofed.
Implementation & Integration Deliver end-to-end Salesforce implementations including integrations with third-party applications and internal systems — leveraging middleware such as MuleSoft and REST/SOAP APIs to enable seamless data flow across King Living's global platforms.
Operational Support & Platform Governance Manage and optimise the Salesforce platform — ensuring reliability, performance, security compliance, and adherence to data governance policies. Contribute to code reviews, development standards, and a culture of technical quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners across functions to translate needs into scalable solutions. Document your work, share knowledge with the team, and contribute to a learning culture where best practice is lived, not just documented.
Who You Are
You are a technically strong Salesforce Engineer who cares about doing the work well — and you are looking for an environment that holds you to that standard.
5+ years' experience in Salesforce development, configuration and implementation
Solid working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and platform capabilities
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs
Experience with Salesforce DevOps including CI/CD, Git, SFDX and automated deployment
Hands-on integration experience using middleware such as MuleSoft and APIs
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modelling, sharing rules and performance optimisation
Proven track record delivering Salesforce projects across build, configuration and execution
Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills — able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Salesforce certifications — Platform Developer I / II or Administrator — highly regarded
Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team capability growth
You will likely come from a Salesforce Engineer or Developer role within a complex, multi-cloud environment — ideally with exposure to global operations or enterprise-scale platforms. What matters most is your technical discipline, your attention to quality, and your ability to deliver solutions that are built to last.
