Position Overview
The Dover Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to support event sales and execution across multiple hospitality and lifestyle properties. This role is heavily administrative and coordination-focused, serving as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
The Events Coordinator will assist with booking events, recommending menus and enhancements, coordinating entertainment and vendors, and managing all logistical details from inquiry through event completion. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, and the ability to work across multiple properties and event types. On-site presence is required for select events.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate private events across multiple Dover Group properties, including social, corporate, and special events
Assist with booking events, managing inquiries, contracts, and client communications
Recommend menus, packages, enhancements, and upgrades based on client needs and venue offerings
Coordinate entertainment, vendors, rentals, and event logistics as required
Serve as a point of contact between clients and internal teams, including culinary, operations, and management
Manage event details including timelines, layouts, staffing needs, and special requests
Attend select events on-site to support execution and ensure client satisfaction
Maintain accurate event documentation, contracts, and records
Perform heavy administrative work, including data entry, scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups
Utilize internal systems, spreadsheets, and event management tools for tracking and reporting
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional, client-focused demeanor
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency with basic office software (email, calendars, spreadsheets, documents)
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for on-site events

Schedule: Primarily weekday administrative hours, with flexibility for on-site event coverage
Location: Multiple Dover Group properties (travel between sites may be required)
