Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role located in Raleigh, NC, focused on building and managing a book of business in freight brokerage. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and cold-calling potential customers, qualifying leads, and developing strong relationships with shippers and carriers. The Sales Representative will negotiate rates, coordinate truckload shipments, and ensure timely, accurate communication between customers, carriers, and internal support teams. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, tracking shipments, resolving service issues, and maintaining detailed records in TQL’s systems. This position offers uncapped commission, rewarding individuals who consistently drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
• Strong sales and business development capabilities, including prospecting, cold-calling, and lead qualification.
• Customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and provide responsive service.
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills, including rate negotiation, conflict resolution, and handling time-sensitive issues.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple accounts, shipments, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working with data and technology, including CRM tools, transportation management systems, and basic office software.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and resilience in a highly competitive sales environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
