Bedford Medical Alert (Bedford Security Systems Inc.) is a Toronto based provider of medical alert systems with 24/7 Canadian monitoring, helping seniors across Ontario live safely and independently at home. Our team brings three generations of experience and treats every client like family.
About the role
Families reach out to Bedford at important moments, often after a fall or a hospital stay, and the first voice they hear sets the tone. As our Sales Representative you pick up the phone and keep things moving: you call new inquiries back the same day, help seniors and their families choose the right protection, and follow up until every family has an answer. This is phone-first sales with warm, inbound leads and real momentum - no cold lists, no pressure tactics, just steady daily conversations with people who need clear, kind guidance. You will also build the referral side of the business, staying in touch with the clinicians, pharmacies and community organizations who send families our way.
What you will do
- Call every new lead back the same day it arrives - speed matters, and you like that
- Keep a daily outbound call rhythm: follow-ups, quotes waiting on a decision, referral partners, and past inquiries worth a second conversation
- Guide seniors and their families from first call to the right system, and run virtual onboarding sessions so new clients start with confidence
- Communicate Bedford's value plainly: what we monitor, how quickly help comes, and why families trust us
- Keep CRM notes brief and action-oriented - enough to move the file, never paperwork for its own sake
- Build relationships with clinicians, pharmacies and community health professionals who refer clients to us
- Ask happy clients for reviews and referrals, and make it easy for them to say yes
- Meet monthly activation targets while protecting the trust our clients place in us

- A quiet home workspace with reliable high-speed internet
- High integrity: you sell to seniors the way you would want someone to sell to your own parents
What we offer
- $40,000 base salary plus uncapped commission; expected total earnings on target $60,000 to $70,000, and no ceiling beyond it
