St. Louis's number one independently owned and operated furniture store for over six decades is seeking a Sales Professional for our Valley Park and Maryland Heights showrooms. Our salespeople are responsible for driving sales and providing the best customer service possible to our customers. Experienced sales associates make between $55,000 and $120,000 Plus dollars per year and enjoy the best benefits in St. Louis! Multiple top writers at both locations are making over $100,000 per year consistently, plus they enjoy the flexibility of working for a family owned business.

Requirements:
--One year sales experience
--Strong closing skills
--Positive attitude and self motivated
--Great personality and communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
Offer a professional, high energy, progressive sales attitude. Greet & form a relationship with customers.
Probe to identify the customer’s needs
Describe merchandise explaining construction, use, and operation to customers.
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Assist with design coordination
Keep detailed and accessible customer records in a clean and organized file.
Asking for the Order, and Closing the sale.
Prepare invoices, record terms of agreement including payment type with detailed accuracy.
Maintain strong follow up and follow through skills in store and via email communication and telephone calls
Help keep our showroom a neat and inviting place to shop
Strive for continued growth
Develop personal knowledge of products, professional sales techniques, and promotions
