We are looking for an energetic candidate with previous hotel Sales experience.

The successful candidate will generate leads and solicit new accounts while developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, in order to produce group corporate business within the area market.

This unique individual must possess excellent communication skills in customer relations, be aggressive in targeting new business and exceed established goals for the market segment through strategic planning, initiation and implementation of proven sales promotional techniques, and ensuring client loyalty by delivering service excellence in all aspects.

Duties will include:

Proactively solicits and qualifies new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, written communication, and client entertainment;
Conducts targeted account research to determine revenue potential;
Participates in daily business review meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required;
To be knowledgeable of local market, national companies, market trends, competition and customers;
Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers
Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings;
Responds to sales leads and clients’ requests in an timely manner
Prepares and customizes sales presentations and proposals to meet client’s needs;
Works in harmony with other departments to execute groups and catering;
·Produces quarterly plans and weekly reports with plans to follow through on activities targets and annual revenue goals
Analyze current and potential market trends; coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rates
Executes sales trips to key market areas;
Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
