About the Role
We’re looking for a Sales Manager with deep experience in the FMCG industry, especially skilled in food and nutrition. In this role, the Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans and activities that are effective in achieving our revenue targets and making a significant impact on market share in New Zealand and Australia markets.

We think our ideal candidate has a minimum of 8-10+ years of sales experience within the FMCG industry and first-hand knowledge of bringing a new brand and product range to market in retail. You must be experienced in building and leading an effective sales organisation, drawing upon significant first-hand experience.



Your Focus
Radix is a fast-paced and agile company. The below is an example of your main accountabilities but it is not a complete list – what matters to us, is relevant experience alongside innovative thinking and a drive to deliver commercial success.

Accountabilities:

Sales Revenue: Responsible for attaining sales revenue targets from all retail, wholesale and direct channels.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective sales planning, coordination and activities across the department and all team members to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual commercial targets.

PL Ownership: Manage full profit and loss for the sales department, all sales accounts and activities.

Team Leadership: Building and leading an effective sales department through what is anticipated to be a high growth fast evolving area of Radix to meet domestic and international interest. P

Forecasting: Oversee high-quality forecasts to maximise revenue, marketplace availability and mitigate risk.

Brand Reputation: Drive brand values and recognition through all sales opportunities and accounts.

Customer Experience: Ensure customers have an exceptional experience.

Base Qualifications and Required Experience
Minimum of 8-10+ years hands on experience in managing retail and wholesale accounts.
Must have experience leading sales and commercial negotiations.
Must have hands on experience with core account management and planning competencies – forecasting, promotional planning, budget management and merchandising.
Must have experience managing and leading teams.
Must have high level of commercial acumen and demonstrate a strong analytical ability and curiosity.
Energised by commercial challenges and driving performance.
A positive attitude and bias for action, looks for solutions and creative ways of achieving goals despite set-backs.
Strong communications skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
